I was blown away by this B&B – a peaceful oasis with a view of the Umbrian countryside just minutes from Perugia’s center. The room was spotless and stocked with everything you could need. Breakfast was lovingly prepared from local, zero‑km ingredients: whole‑grain bread, homemade jam, all thanks to Donatella’s skillful hands. The staff were attentive and meticulous, especially Francesco, who not only gave us dining and sightseeing tips but also shared his passion for Vespa rides, taking us on a tour with his PX150 and making us feel like family. Absolutely must‑stay!
We spent four nights at B&B Le Terrazze with Donatella and Francesco, myself, Chiara, and our two children, Asia and Alessandro, and it was truly special. The B&B sits on a beautiful hillside a few kilometers from Perugia, surrounded by nature with a stunning panoramic view. Every detail is cared for, reflecting a deep environmental sensitivity. What makes it even more memorable are Donatella and Francesco, who pampered us throughout our stay, delivering genuine Umbrian hospitality with warmth, availability, and professionalism born from experience and passion. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, yet it never felt formal, giving us a sense of home. We had a great time, enjoyed every moment, and would recommend this place to everyone for both its setting and the people who make it so special. We’ll be thrilled to return to the Terrazze when we’re back in Umbria. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making us feel so welcome! ❤️
“Fantastic property, particularly for the semi-rural minded plus wonderful hosts. Highly recommended”
The property sits in a quiet, peaceful area overlooking a valley that opens back to Perugia. Our room was comfortable, clean, and very cozy. The highlight was the wonderful hospitality from Francesco and Donatella. We enjoyed many engaging conversations with them while working on our bilingual skills. They were especially helpful with local information about Perugia and suggested visiting Montelabate, where the Abbazia Santa Maria is located. We had a private tour with Antonio, a very knowledgeable man especially on the abbey’s history. All in all, a wonderful stay.
“Il calore dell'accoglienza”
We loved everything! Breakfast was fantastic, and on the evening of arrival we filled out a questionnaire about our preferences, yet every morning we found even more treats than requested. Visiting in late August, we were greeted each day with delicious figs. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and comfortable for a longer stay. The kitchen, washing machine, iron, and hairdryer were all excellent. Francesco and Donatella were incredible hosts, always smiling, kind, and eager to meet our needs. After we left, they noticed we’d forgotten some clothes and worked hard to let us know so we could retrieve them quickly. The house offers a remarkable view and sits in an extremely quiet, serene area. Highly recommended for families and couples alike.
“Perugia dolce scoperta”
The property is wonderful, surrounded by the green hills of Perugia just ten minutes from the city center, ideal for exploring the town while enjoying Umbria’s nature and calm. The house is meticulously cared for, warm, comfortable, and fully equipped. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful; the homemade pastries are incredible, and the view from the dining room is breathtaking. Donatella and Francesco are fantastic—friendly, thoughtful, attentive to the smallest needs but never intrusive. Talking with them alone justifies the trip. Highly recommended! The details make all the difference. Great job!
