Perfect location, just 5 minutes from the historic old town entrance. The host is super friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about.
The family-run estate feels intimate, and they make great wines you can taste on the spot. The breakfast was superb, with excellent coffee, bread, and homemade jams. Our host was very attentive. The train station is just a 3‑minute walk away if you want to see the Wachau valley on the Wachaubahn. It’s an ideal spot for visiting Dürnstein, everything is walkable. I highly recommend it. If you need to restock, there’s a very small grocery shop nearby, but for more variety it’s better to go to the neighboring town.

We spent one night on our bike tour from Passau to Vienna and were very happy with the choice. The apartment was spotless, welcoming and comfortable. The room was nice and detailed, and the bathroom was spacious and very convenient. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. Breakfast was great, and the coffee deserves special mention – probably the best we drank all over the trip! An added bonus is the chance to buy their excellent house wine, highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality local products. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, authentic stay with warm hospitality. 🍷☕🚴♂️😊
