The area around the pension is nice, but the stay itself was a disaster. The so‑called “non‑smoking zones” were anything but that – the hallway and even the room smelled of strong tobacco because the owner smokes on the balcony right next to the door, and the terrace was littered with cigarette butts that never got cleared.

The host was incredibly friendly and even managed to upgrade us to a room with a balcony, despite us not having booked that feature. The place is just a short walk from the center of Soll, which made getting around a breeze.

The location was convenient, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Breakfast jars of jam were grimy, leftover cucumbers and tomatoes sat on the table the next day, and the butter dish was never cleaned – they just refilled it with fresh butter. I can’t recommend this pension to anyone.

Gerlinde was a fantastic host – she welcomed us warmly, made us feel at home right away, and even sorted out the bracelets we needed for the Bergdoktor event after our car broke down and we arrived a day late. Everything else was spot on.
