The 4-star superior Hotel Europa Splendid, Merano, is situated 100 metres from the Passirio River, adjacent to the pedestrian area. Rooms, varying in style, feature soundproofed windows, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV, and safe. A large buffet breakfast is served, followed by South Tyrol specialities in the restaurant, which has a cosy lounge and terrace. The hotel is close to thermal spas, theatre, and shops, with a nearby bus stop.

A beautiful city hotel with comfort and charm. The breakfast and especially the dinner (half board) were excellent. Service was outstanding—fast, friendly, and very helpful. It would be nice to have a garden.

It’s a 4‑star hotel and that shows in everything. The breakfast service was exceptional, with amazing omelets and the best flat white, made with care. Much appreciated in the morning. Parking at the hotel is not possible.

A central hotel with very friendly staff, a sensational breakfast selection, a nice terrace, and truly good cuisine. I’ll definitely come back! Special thanks to Mr. Winkler, who gave my two friends and me great outing tips. Too bad I couldn’t stay longer!

The hotel was spotless and everything was perfect – the location right in the center of Merano with a bus stop right below the building was ideal. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and attentive to any request, and the breakfast was excellent. Nothing to complain about.
