The environment is peaceful, the place feels cozy and cocooning, and the breakfasts are very generous. The heat was high, but that was due to the weather, not the owner.
“Un accueil au top mais un logement qui n'est pas du tout fait pour y séjourner l'hiver.”
The host’s welcome was very friendly, available, and responded quickly to messages before and during the stay—thankfully! That helped offset the disappointment of our stay. We were very cold because the chalet was not insulated at all and the climate control wasn’t powerful enough to warm the space properly. The owner had installed a backup heater, but it tripped the breakers, so we had to shut it off quickly. Because the breakers tripped repeatedly, the jacuzzi stopped working overnight, and the next morning we couldn’t use it because the water temperature had dropped; the jacuzzi is in a separate chalet that isn’t heated at all. In short, this accommodation isn’t suitable for winter. It also lacks some small household items, and the kitchen area is very small, making it hard to have a full set of equipment.
The place was quiet, the jacuzzi worked well, and everything was clean. Nothing else to add.
“Parfait”
The welcome, breakfast, and jacuzzi were all perfect.
“bien mais sans plus.”
The private jacuzzi is good quality and there’s a small kitchen area in the chalet with a lovely little terrace. The bedding is too hard, the chalet’s door moves a lot, the entry door doesn’t lock with a key, the parquet slats at the entrance are broken and can hurt your feet—though they’re covered by a rug—and at several spots you can see the day between the wooden slats of the partitions.
