This spot sits in an amazing spot—beautiful area surrounded by greenery and rice terraces. The team went out of their way to keep us happy with our stay, the food at the restaurant, and our room. They were incredibly kind and welcoming from start to finish and even gave us a free massage for staying 5 nights for my wife and I. For the price I don’t think it can be beat! Some downsides worth mentioning are that because it is deep in the jungle you do have a wide variety of bugs and wildlife creatures around the property. Our first room had an outdoor bathroom and living area on the ground level and some animal (I would assume a rat) got into our bathroom area and pooped around the toilet. To their credit they switched us rooms as soon as possible after the second night and the second room had an indoor bathroom and living space on the second floor which helped tremendously with the bugs and everything else. Also there was a rather loud megaphone announcements coming from a place nearby which the staff said was a Balinese wedding celebration. Lasted several hours day and evening time which was quite distracting but out of their control obviously. Overall we left having a great experience especially for how much you pay for your stay!

What a wonderful place! Klumpu Eco Resort sits beautifully and quietly, right next to fantastic rice fields. We found the surroundings especially special. The rooms are nice, atmospheric, and surprisingly spacious. The staff also deserves a compliment: everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and you feel welcomed right away. We ate at the restaurant several times and it was good every time. For us this was one of those places where everything just clicks: great location, nice rooms, good food, and especially very friendly people. A definite recommendation for anyone who wants to experience the calm, green, and authentic Bali. We would definitely come back!
