I rated it 8/10: the staff were super friendly and the area is perfect for starting your adventure in Bangkok. Nothing negative—it's modest, has no TV but you don't need one, and it's very welcoming.

The bed was truly comfortable and the morning receptionist was very friendly, but the check‑in experience was unpleasant: a young staff member didn’t even greet us, and the same indifferent attitude continued throughout our stay, with the hall attendant ignoring greetings while lounging on the seats, which felt odd and not at all reflective of Thai hospitality; breakfast lacked variety and I even found a hair in a pork skewer; despite being on the third floor, we were woken each morning by a motorcycle engine revving for a few minutes after 7 am. Would I return? No, there are better options.

After staying there for a few nights and loving it, we extended our stay by one more night and we’re still thrilled with that choice. I already wrote a more detailed review above, and it’s worth reading because this hostel is highly recommended if you’re heading to Bangkok. The location, cleanliness, modern vibe, breakfast, price, and especially the staff’s friendliness make it hard to beat. It’s close to Khao San Road but in a peaceful area, so you can walk there and enjoy the scene without the nighttime noise. After trying it, we’d not only stay again but decided to add another night. That says a lot about how comfortable we felt. If you’re undecided about where to stay in Bangkok, I wouldn’t overthink it: highly recommended!

The spot was spot on—quiet, yet just a 15‑minute walk to Khao San Road, so you’re near everything without the area’s clamor. The hostel itself felt even better: ultra‑modern, spotless, and cheap. I paid about €10‑15 a night, breakfast included, and it was a real treat for that price. As a celiac, I could eat almost anything (except the toast) without worry—juice, coffee, milk, Actimel, eggs cooked any way (omelette, scrambled, fried), bacon, cookies, and more. The shared bathrooms were split by gender, super clean, and each shower had its own space, giving plenty of privacy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. All in all, 100 % recommend—price, location, cleanliness, breakfast, and staff make it hard to find a better option in Bangkok. I’d definitely stay again.
