Everything matched our expectations; the owners were very nice and gave us great tips, the breakfast was served in a picnic basket on the terrace, and nothing was missing. We could walk to the lovely town of Cassis, though the way back was uphill and required some fitness 😊. It is absolutely recommended.

The accommodation has a wonderful location, it’s quiet, a bit above Cassis with a superb view. The hospitality of Jean & July is especially noteworthy. We felt very comfortable right away. Jean gave us great tips for excursions. Breakfast is assembled in a basket each morning, and you can eat it peacefully on the terrace or in the room. It was a wonderful stay, and we are enchanted by Cassis and the accommodation!

I would recommend it, except for the huge number of mosquitoes that stayed with us – that’s the only drawback.

The place looks amazing, everything feels carefully put together, and the owners were friendly and met all our requests. It really feels like a peaceful retreat. Getting to the city takes about 15 minutes, which can be a bit of a trek, so we drove there in the evenings. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with young kids or strollers. The only downside was the bed; it was very uncomfortable. We asked for softer pillows, which helped a little, but the mattress still caused back pain for both me and my husband.
