Ronina's Sipocot Hotel

It was a convenient stopover on a road trip because it sits right on the route. The pool was refreshing, and the view of the green pastures with cows, goats, and chickens was lovely. However, it was very noisy; we woke up at 4 am to the crowing of eight roosters and the barking of five dogs.

We liked that it wasn’t too far nor too close to Daet, making it ideal for a staycation. The room was just the right size for two people, spotless, and offered a great mountain view. We’ll definitely return.

While most Philippine hotels have helpful staff, the team at Roninas was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, and we enjoyed a nice balcony with a pleasant view. The rooms were a bit small, but they were well appointed.

The staff were great and always helpful. I booked a double room, but it was very small—barely enough space for the bed. In other places I’d taken a single room that was larger.

The place is super relaxing, spotlessly clean, and the staff are all smiling and incredibly helpful, though the aircon doesn’t get super cold.
