The room was big enough and the location was good, but the sofa bed meant for the third guest was broken—one foot of the bed was cracked, so it tilted and one of us didn’t sleep well the first night. When we complained, they said they fixed it and suggested that a lighter person sleep there, even though one of us was overweight, which felt very insensitive. We asked for a different room so someone could sleep on a proper bed, but they said the hotel was fully booked that night. Later, when we complained again that the bed was still not fixed, they claimed a vacant room was now available for us to use free of charge. Suddenly a room appeared that had just been unavailable, which made us feel the customer service was bad.

The room was spacious and airy, staff were helpful and friendly, the transfer service was very convenient, and the location was good, but the pillows were too flat—a common issue in Portuguese hotels we stayed at.
