The room was really clean, opulent, and spacious, located near the main train station and Bari’s city centre. It’s a private room in a fully automated apartment, and the owner was very helpful, giving us detailed instructions before arrival and staying on the phone even during odd hours when we hit a snag with the automation. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay.

It wasn’t as described: the entrance was shabby, the lift was very, very small, and communication with the host was poor; getting in was not easy because the Vikey check‑in link didn’t work. The inner court view differed from what was shown, and the balcony furniture was unusable. The toilet seat lid kept falling off, and the two handbasin plugs wouldn’t stay down, making shaving difficult. Unfortunately, we’ve already booked and paid for another three nights at the end of the holiday, from the 17th to the 20th, and we’re not looking forward to that stay.

We got there at midnight and left before dawn, using the place just as a quick layover before heading to Matera. The room was spacious, the bathroom was a decent size, and overall the room was clean enough with a comfortable bed, which matched the price and our needs perfectly. Walking distance from the train station or the city center is easy. The night entrance felt dark and the foyers on both the ground and room floors looked run down, making us doubt whether we were in the right spot; it wasn’t inviting at all, but the room itself was fully functional and met our requirements.

It was comfortable and modern, though the digital setup was a bit tricky because the data rooming wasn’t great; everything else was fine. If you’re driving, finding parking is a challenge.
