The only bright spot was the location near the bus stand and the Periyar Tiger Reserve, but everything else was a disappointment. The washroom was filthy and reeked of urine; the floor was so slick with grime that we had to watch our steps while bathing, clearly indicating it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. The bedsheets were torn and smelled dirty, and the breakfast was bland and uninteresting. I would never recommend Periyar Holidays to anyone.
