The front desk was super friendly and the place is gorgeous, plus the breakfast was top‑notch. The only downside was the double bed – it felt smaller than a standard one, so it was a bit tough to sleep together.

Carlos welcomed us with a smile and we were dropped into a chalet right in front of the pool – the view is insane. Breakfast was out of this world, and the whole place is just amazing. Can't wait to come back in summer to see the waterfall that cuts through the lodge.

We were greeted warmly at the front desk, and the breakfast was solid – plenty of breads, jams, fresh scrambled eggs, and coffee that lives up to the region's reputation. Outside, the property is gorgeous: a waterfall runs behind, there's a pool, a party hall, a grill, and everything is tidy. The location is spot on, just a stone's throw from the entrance to Alto do Caparaó park.

Coffee was excellent and the spot is in a perfect location, but we were disappointed that there was no door to the balcony – just a blind.
