We really enjoyed our stay. You can see that the hotel has been around for some time, but it is clear that the staff genuinely care about maintaining a good standard and making guests feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the effort they put into keeping the place pleasant. There are obviously some signs of the hotel’s age, but this was not a problem for us. Considering the price and the fact that it is one of the more affordable options in the area, I think expectations should be reasonable. Some reviews seem to expect facilities and amenities that would normally come with a much more expensive hotel

“Sin pena ni gloria”

Private bathroom and staff. The decoration is the cheapest and most shabby I’ve ever seen, no outlets near some beds, no outlets in the bathroom, no mirror in the bathroom, and the air conditioning did not work well.

I went there expecting a simple guesthouse, not a full‑blown hotel, so I didn’t have high hopes and nothing really let me down. The place had all the basics you’d need, though a few spots could use a bit more cleaning or a fresh coat of paint. The only real gripe was the air‑con – it only had an “Antarctica” setting or was off, and it kept cycling on and off every 30 minutes during the night, which was a little annoying.

I liked the location, but the old‑fashioned gîte could really use a facelift, and the breakfast was very brief.
