The location is great and there’s parking, but the negatives outweigh the positives. The owner is very attentive, always answers the phone and apologises, which is expected because the house often has issues; the fix is usually just turning off electrical appliances. If you’re looking for an adventure inside the accommodation, look elsewhere. The house is old and beautiful, spacious enough for large families, but only tolerable in summer when it’s not too hot; winter is awful. The electrical system can’t handle the load. The house has four floors, all kitchen appliances are electric (at least they’re decent), and the water is heated with a large tank and another for the attic WC. So the setup is: shower in the attic and wash dishes in the kitchen, you can only run one stove burner and forget about heaters or hairdryers. The rooms have no heating except three floor radiators that only work at minimum and only if nothing else is on. The fireplace heats the dining room well, while the kitchen’s old chimney lets in a lot of cold wind, making cooking a nightmare if you’re already ill. On the first night I tried boiling water in a kettle and the breaker tripped several times. After contacting the owner, we realized that particular outlet should not be used because it trips for unknown reasons; the owner should seal or remove it. Because the breaker was hot, we had to wait until we could turn on anything besides the lights. On the second night, when I tried to cook dinner, both water heaters tripped. I had to turn them off to use the stove, and heating the rooms was only possible afterward. The cleaning was terrible. D. Isabel is friendly, but she apparently has to clean everything alone and can’t handle everything. The dining table had a dirty, paint‑stained plastic tablecloth full of crumbs. The carpet and curtains were gray. There were dirty dishes scattered in the middle of the floor. The duvets were stained. Only the sheets seemed clean; they were washed and smelled good.

The house is spacious and well‑located, close to the village centre and nature. The living room is large and comfortable for groups. We recommend increasing the electrical panel capacity, as it was often insufficient. The house needs some renovations because there are leaks between the floors under the bathrooms.

The house’s location was fantastic. We had plenty of space for everyone. The water was super hot. The downside was the lack of television and Wi‑Fi. Heating was only by fireplace and heaters, which was insufficient for the house’s size, especially in that season.

The house is large but very welcoming; when we arrived the fireplace and heaters were already on, making us feel “at home” with wood to keep the atmosphere. The outdoor parking area is very safe. The rooms were clean and tidy, everything excellent. Absolutely recommend it. Nothing to point out.
