Everything matched the description. Beautiful and well-maintained place where the owners live. Alberto was very helpful and open. He definitely made the stay pleasant and made us feel good. With a clear conscience I can recommend it.

A lodge that looks absolutely stunning right in the heart of the jungle; at night you hear the wildlife and wake up to the howl of monkeys. The shared kitchen is very practical, and they also serve breakfasts that you can book in advance.

The two hosts were super friendly and took care of everything whenever we needed something. The road to the accommodation is the typical bumpy path. The dinner offered is delicious, and you get exactly what the family eats. The price was absolutely fine. Walking takes about 30‑45 minutes into Cahuita. We walked the route in the afternoon, but it’s already tiring. You have to decide whether to accept the bumpy drive or be back before dark on foot (dogs that are not dangerous but bark and growl to defend their territory, you have to like them). The hosts responded to earlier criticisms as well as possible, for example by installing a rope in the shower so you can hang towels to dry. Thanks to the host’s tip, we were able to witness the release of baby turtles. There are different opinions about whether to go if you don’t want to, but it’s not mandatory. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

El hotel está bien ubicado y el personal que nos atendió fue muy amable, nos asesoraron bien respecto de los lugares a los cuales queríamos ir. Muy agradable el lugar y muy bien cuidado, la flora del lugar es muy bella. Lugar cómodo para estar y teníamos nevera compartida. Lugar de parking y el desayuno muy bueno. No estaba incluido en la tarifa lo pagamos aparte. Un lugar que compartir con la selva que te rodea. Temprano en la mañana escuchas los monos aulladores. Precioso todo el entorno. Tiene el inodoro en recinto separado del resto del baño. Me pareció incómodo y antihigiénico. Resto de la habitación muy buena. Hay que poner algunas luces para que de noche indiquen el sendero para ir a las habitaciones.
