The rooms were roomy, the building had a colonial style, the view of the rice fields was lovely, and the pool was beautiful. The bathroom was very old, all the sheets were stained, it was hard to get a grab or gojek, only instant noodles and coffee were sold on site, deliveries were impossible, the bar and lounge mentioned in the description were missing, and the staff didn’t speak English.

I traveled with my kids and checked out again after about an hour because the room was in an unacceptable condition. It smelled musty, had mold, dust everywhere, and spider webs hung around. The toilet was yellow and filthy. The pillows were also musty and yellowed. The hygiene was so bad I couldn’t let my kids sleep there and felt it irresponsible to stay. I reported it to reception right away, saying the room was dirty, and they only said “Sorry.” No alternative room or solution was offered. Because of the room’s condition I had to book another hotel at the last minute, which caused a lot of stress and extra cost.

The property was stunning, spotless, and well maintained. The pool was soothing, the vibe was calm, and the traditional Balinese design added a special touch. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a quiet getaway. The only minor gripe was that Wi‑Fi could be a bit stronger in some areas, but it didn’t affect my overall experience.

The kitchen could use a renovation but it stayed clean, and I wish they’d bring back the hot water machine. The kitchen itself was a bit of a let‑down.
