“An Exceptional Caribbean Hideaway in nature – Hospitality at Its Finest!”
Six Pillars is an extraordinary Caribbean hideaway where hospitality shines. From the moment we arrived it felt more like a warm, family‑run sanctuary than a typical resort. Robert, the host, is outstanding—organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in every detail, even helping with our return travel to Costa Rica so we could relax fully. Maile, the hostess and chef, serves fresh, generous meals that balance Caribbean flavors with comfort; dining feels intimate, not transactional. They even toured us through their lush gardens where they grow many ingredients. Konrad, the skipper, is kind, patient, and highly skilled, knowing all the best fishing, snorkeling, and dining spots. He picked us up by private boat, waited when we were late, and welcomed us with drinks. Our time on the water was calm, safe, and unforgettable. We explored beautiful spots in Bocas del Toro, saw wildlife, and enjoyed private tours and fishing trips arranged daily. We were upgraded to the over‑water bungalow, which was magical—waking up over still waters, surrounded by jungle and sea, with kayaks and a private dock to swim from. The design is comfortable yet eco‑conscious, blending sustainability with understated luxury. What truly distinguishes Six Pillars is its atmosphere: impeccably organized yet relaxed, eco‑friendly yet refined, personal without being intrusive—a rare balance. If you want a quiet, thoughtfully run Caribbean escape where hospitality feels genuine and human, this is it.
