The spot is amazing, right next to the sea and facing the Castle, with a private pier that drops straight into the water—absolutely stunning! The downside is the room’s bathroom feels a bit old‑fashioned, lacks a window, and there’s no exhaust fan.

The private pier at the Aragonese Castle was wonderful, breakfast was good in Italian style with mostly sweet items, a private pier gave sea access, a bus stop in front of the venue, the room was clean, fully equipped, with a generous balcony – I’d return anytime. Thanks. The fridge was missing in the room. Walking to the castle requires some effort (the distance isn’t huge, but there’s a slight level change).

Honestly, nothing to like given the room problems below. We paid extra for a superior ocean‑view room and received a windowless room with no view; its only door opened onto a shared jacuzzi terrace with no privacy, so we kept it closed the whole stay. Reception said the listing photos are “generic for all rooms,” and only after I showed proof of the room I paid for did they agree to move us the next day because everything else was full. Two nights booked, one night in the correct room. No refund was ever offered, only a free dinner and sun beds, which we declined. The room was also dirty on arrival with laundry hanging across the terrace.

The location was amazing, bus stop right outside, terrace and breakfast/coffee options excellent (didn’t have lunch or dinner so can’t comment). Great for a quick stopover. The mattress was a bit hard, the bathroom smelled like vinegar (not the end of the world). One bedside plug socket was inaccessible because a piece of furniture was near it. Check‑in was at 14:00, and we had to wait until almost 14:30 as the staff were not ready and hadn’t cleaned the room.

The view of the Aragonese Castle was fantastic, the property was clean and easily reachable by public transport. Our room was a nice size and we liked the direct sea access from the hotel. Breakfast was very rich and varied. The kitchen could be improved.
