The family running the guest house are incredibly kind and accommodating; the dinner was the best food we had in France, and the price is better than anywhere else. Having a car for hiking is recommended because most trail heads are far away.

The location is close to the sites you want to visit. The breakfast was hearty and varied, and the hostess is very attentive to her guests, always smiling. The breakfast area can feel a bit cramped when many people are there at once.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming, the room and bathroom are spacious, the breakfast is wonderfully extensive, the surroundings are lovely and quiet, and there is a safe parking spot for the car. It feels a little dated, but that also gives it some charm.

The location is quiet. Unfortunately, our experience did not match most reviews: the bedding is average, the owners’ dog in the hallway and common areas triggers long‑hair allergies, a dirty laundry basket drifted through the hallway all night, the breakfast was very basic and not exceptional as some reviews claim, and it felt more like a business than a cozy bed‑and‑breakfast.
