I thought the price was great, but I couldn’t find the parking spot because there was no sign until the end of my stay.

The rooms were lovely, with traditional Japanese style and tatami mats, and the big room had nice details. The apartment had been renovated before, so it looked fresh. We received a detailed email with check‑in info and a key box, but the box was empty when we got there. It was probably an internal mix‑up, and it made us nervous standing in a quiet, dead‑quiet village with heavy luggage late at night, unable to get in. The host tried to sort it out, but I had to call him with high roaming charges. The dish situation was a bit rough.

The house was beautiful and set in a quiet, green area, traditional Japanese style and all that. It’s a bit far from Uno Port – about a 15‑minute walk to the bus station and then another 25/30 minutes by bus. Not close to the city center, but that’s a plus if you want peace.

The traditional tatami house had all the amenities you’d expect and felt like a real Japanese home. It was spacious, and the staff member was very kind. We were lucky the other room was empty, so the shared kitchen, toilet, and bathroom were just ours. The house isn’t brand new, though it was clean. With the other apartment occupied and the staff member around, privacy felt a bit compromised, which makes the price feel less worthwhile. A small improvement would be clearer parking instructions – a simple map showing the spot relative to the house in the arrival email would help.
