The two windows and comfy sofa were great, and the biscuits they left were a nice touch. Breakfast was just the two of us, cooked from scratch and absolutely perfect, giving us plenty of options. The only downside was a small improvement that could be made: a longer mirror and perhaps a shelf in the bathroom would help, though there was already a double cupboard under the sink that could be used.

The staff were helpful, the place was clean and homely, and the food was good. Nothing to dislike.

The staff were lovely, always welcoming us with a smile. The only issue was the many stairs, which made it a bit of a challenge with our suitcases, and the small window in the room made it somewhat dark. This didn’t affect our stay, but I mention it so other guests know.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were welcoming and the food was lovely. Just a note: dogs aren’t allowed in the rooms, but they’re very welcome in the bar.
