I stayed at La Chartreuse and the hosts were charming and kind, making the dinner on the terrace a real pleasure. The breakfast the next day was modest but pleasant, and the fruit juice was a nice touch. I recommend it.

The place sits right in the middle of all the picturesque villages, and the garden, pool, and hammock are perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very convivial, and you should definitely try the table d’hôte.

The exceptional location lets us enjoy a magnificent view of the French Tuscan countryside and the Pyrenees, and the hosts’ hospitality and quality conversations were wonderful. Their kindness and spontaneity made the meal prepared with local producers by Veronique a marvelous experience. The only downside was the room ventilation, but that’s hard to fix during such a heatwave.
