We’ve stayed at Lamm several times and were again very satisfied with everything offered. The staff were always polite and attentive; breakfast had everything we needed. We couldn’t use the restaurant this time because we were invited to dine elsewhere. The room was fine. In the bathroom, even my wife, who has mild visual impairment, found the lighting adequate. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. All in all, good. The price‑value ratio felt a bit too high this time. The view from the room faced an untended spot/terrace, a slightly offset neighboring building, and a house gable. We could see a little of the sky, but compared to similar hotels it was a bit lacking and somewhat dented the overall impression.

A very nice and relaxed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the vineyards was a treat.

Set amid vineyards, timber‑framed houses and the little Enz stream, Hotel Lamm in Rosswag also houses a Michelin‑starred restaurant, though I didn’t get to enjoy its cuisine this time and hope to return for it. The rooms came with everything needed, offered lovely views over the vines and the historic village centre, and the staff were courteous and helpful; breakfast on the terrace between the hotel and restaurant wings was a nice touch that completed the stay. I’d definitely recommend the place and plan to try the kitchen on my next visit. It was unusually hot during my stay, but that’s beyond the hotel’s control; even with the windows open the rooms stayed reasonably cool under the roof at 37 °C, and a dip in the Enz is a good remedy for anyone feeling too warm.
