The setting was very unique and pleasant, and the price was a great deal.

The front‑desk lady loved chatting about the house and its history, and the gentleman who prepared breakfast was also pleasant to talk to in the morning. The mattress was very comfortable. We strolled around the property and saw many rooms of the old house, nicely preserved for its current use. We would definitely return if we come back this way. Unfortunately, the multi‑showerheads in the shower were capped off, which would have been nice to experience.

Breakfast was very nice, served in a lovely room. We stayed in a former servant’s room, so it was small. The sink was difficult to use because the shelf above it covered most of it, and there wasn’t much space on the shelf for toiletries either.

I didn’t appreciate the lack of a proper welcome when we arrived.

We didn’t have breakfast because my sister is severely allergic to cats. Let guests know that cats are present in the house. Everything else was very nice.
