“De pinguïn, super fijne B&B”

Nice place, spacious room with a fine bed. The host and hostess were very pleasant. Breakfast was fantastic!!! There was ample parking and a beautiful garden, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the late‑autumn sunshine. No complaints.

The reception was friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were tidy. Nothing else to mention.

The breakfast was excellent and very varied, with a view of the canal, pastures, and a weeping willow. Nothing bothered me at all, and there were no more than a few penguins everywhere – that was really fun.

“Prachtige, mooie kamer met echt groot bed”

The reception staff were very warm. We stayed in a lovely room that had a bedroom with a huge bed and a very large duvet, plus a tiny separate room with a bench, chair, and TV right next to the terrace. Nothing was missing. The private bathroom was gorgeous, featuring a hand and rain shower, hand soap, shower cream, and shampoo, plus plenty of towels. Air conditioning worked fine. We enjoyed the abundant breakfast with a wide selection of fresh fruit – it was fantastic. The room and bathroom were spotless. The B&B Penguin is close to the Hardenberg events hall; it’s not within walking distance but is a short drive away. We parked our car on the property right outside the B&B entrance, and there’s a charging station available for an extra fee. The nightly rate is actually quite low for the quality offered, and we’d love to return. The only downside is that the photos don’t really show the size of the bathroom or the bed.

What a beautiful location. The room was spacious and lovely, the owners were friendly, and the breakfast was super extensive.
