The staff were absolutely lovely, and the place felt idyllic and centrally located. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but it was just enough; I’d have liked more fruit and yogurt.

The hotel was pleasantly cozy and charming, with a private bathroom in the specific room that was comfortable. I liked that there were towels on the corridor so I could set up a small table. The bed was very soft and perfect for a romantic evening. The whole place feels personal and homey, with attention to detail. The walls were a bit thin, and sounds and morning traffic were easily heard, which is probably unavoidable in a larger hotel.

Breakfast was plentiful and the Wi‑Fi worked well. Parking is conveniently right in front of the building. As mentioned in previous reviews, the rooms aren’t very modern, but the whole hotel has a charming old‑world feel, and the wooden walls are beautiful. The hotel’s own restaurant is good, and there’s also a pub and grocery stores nearby. A short trip to the castle, like other attractions, and the location is excellent—easy to find. Rooms on the back side of the courtyard didn’t have traffic noise. The room had a kettle, which is a big plus! The shower rooms only have a short shower curtain that doesn’t reach the floor or protect anything; water spills into the whole bathroom. I hope a fix comes soon.
