“Very cold, followed by very hot from a questionable space heater. Hallways smelled like disinfecant”
Convenient location, room was clean. It got to 43 degrees at night that night that we stayed. There was no heat in the room. Nothing happened when we turned the thermostat on. Since there was no one on duty in the off-season, we had to call the off-hour number. We were told that the heat had not been turned on in the building. We were directed to get a space heater from the linen area which we did. Then we woke up to an 80 degree room from the space heater. In the morning, the water from the shower was barely luke warm. I think that there could be many safety and liability issues with hotel rooms using space heaters as the source of heat. These problems occured not just in our room, but the rooms of my two relatives staying there. I would expect that in Northern Maine, that you would heat the building according to the current temperatures, not some ore-set, arbitrary date. If the heat has been on, with hot running water, it would have been a lovely stay
“It was perfect for what we needed but would have preferred a lower level w/ same accommodations.”
Clean and comfortable. No elevator in multi story hotel. No staff at desk (although available by phone) as it was “off season”
Stole credit card information
“Adequate.”
No one was there at the inn. No hot water, No heat. They gave us $25 refund.Because of no hot water. No.\nHot water
“Great skiing, but late season dining options were extremely limited”
Tv had Roku. Nothing was open - the attached restaurant was closed, there was no skiing from the Inn, and there were no restaurants open in the area
