The staff were genuinely friendly and the price felt fair for what you get, plus the hotel is right off the main street which made getting around easy. The downside was the lack of a backup generator – whenever the power cut out we lost internet and, more annoyingly, the fans stopped working. Also, there was no daily housekeeping, so we had to tidy up ourselves.

The guy at reception was helpful and polite, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately the place didn’t match the pictures – out of four beds, three were broken and unusable, and the pool was a disappointment with the pump only running for a short window, leaving the water warm and stagnant.

“Hostel vibes at hotel price”

The hotel’s location is convenient, just a short walk from the city centre, and the pool is pleasant; the front‑desk team is friendly and helpful. On the flip side, the building feels dated, and rooms without air‑conditioning become uncomfortable in the heat despite a few fans, while many fixtures are either broken or on the verge of breaking.

“Perfecta”

The pool was the highlight of the stay – clean, well‑maintained, and perfect for a quick dip after a day of sightseeing. There wasn’t much else to note, but the water alone made the visit worthwhile.

Power cuts were frequent, leaving us to endure hot nights without any cooling, and the constant barking of stray dogs and crowing of roosters made it hard to get any sleep. There were no redeeming features to balance out the noisy, uncomfortable environment.
