The room was terrible and stank; every piece of furniture was broken and dirty, giving the impression it was taken from a dumpster. The shower constantly leaked, and the smell was awful. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The proximity to the Empire State Trail in an area with few options is a plus. However, the room’s soundproofing turned my stay into a nightmare; the neighbors watched TV all night and the noise felt like my own TV was on. I found the way the beds were made odd, the warm blanket (which I doubt is laundered for each guest) was in direct contact with my skin under the white sheet that I imagine is laundered for each guest. The room smelled upon arrival and I couldn’t keep the bathroom window open to create airflow.

It was affordable. One of the sheets was stained and they used blankets as curtains. It’s affordable and safe but not my favorite spot; it could use a little more love.

Everything was good. Everything was good.

The place is in a great spot, but the room was a mess: dirty socks everywhere, a flimsy blanket, and a tiny shower. The heat/ac unit was mounted absurdly high on the wall, so I couldn’t see the controls no matter how I tried. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
