The spot was perfect for our family and friends. It is right in front of the beach, which is great for kids and beginner surfers. It is located 10 minutes away from the main area of Arugam Road, at the end of Pottuvil town. It is very peaceful, and the cabins were the best we have ever stayed in. Thank you

The place is literally on the beach, just a short tuk‑tuk ride to town; the room was lovely and the staff were fantastic. The food was good, very reasonably priced and cooked fresh. Surfing is also great, so I highly recommend booking a lesson! We can’t wait to come back.

Simply put: if you want a quiet, idyllic island vibe from the hotel, this is the place. You sit on the terrace and, in peak season, have an empty (!) beach right in front of you. Beautiful. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Even a problem on a safari (for which the hotel couldn't help) was handled very professionally. Big praise. Be sure to book the mangrove safari as well. The “Arugam Bay” in the name is a bit misleading. It takes 15 minutes to get to the tourist Arugam Bay, and you won’t find a comparable quiet hotel like this one there.
