“Excellent”
The staff were warm and friendly, and everything else was fine.
The house was wonderful, with the top floor almost entirely yours, complete with a small bathroom in the hallway. The décor was authentic and meticulously detailed, which we really appreciated. The host spoke enough English to get along and made a delicious breakfast. She also sent us a parking spot beforehand, and everything nearby is easily reachable on foot. The view from the room was especially fantastic.
The room felt magical, offering a beautiful view and a comforting vibe. The house itself had a story, steeped in history and full of love and care. We were grateful to stay in such a lovely home, which felt like home again, reminding me of my grandparents’ house. It was our favorite city and place in Albania, and we hope to return one day.
“Beautiful views of castle with some beautiful authentic restaurants just down the road :-)”
The castle views were stunning, and there were some genuinely authentic restaurants just a short walk away. I’ll definitely return. Breakfast was fantastic, and the old house felt like home.
I stayed in an old house where the lady was friendly and served breakfast exactly when I asked for it: tomato, cucumber, French omelette, jam, half a sausage, toast, and Turkish coffee—though I’d advise against the coffee—and they also offered juice and water. The only drawback was the steep slope; the car can’t reach the entrance, so carrying luggage is a bit tough if you’re traveling with seniors or kids.
