The place was awful and infested with insects.

We booked a room because my partner needed to have a medical procedure and we wanted to avoid a long drive afterward. The previous hotel we stayed at was TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT GO TO RED ROOF HOMETOWN SUITES; their ads are deceptive, and the place was dirty and nasty. Here the staff were knowledgeable, gave us a late check‑out without any hassle, and the room was clean with a nice bathroom and kitchen area. I’d gladly stay again. The only downside was a faint odor in the hallways, but it didn’t bother us in our room.

No breakfast was offered. The air conditioner didn’t work, and we were on the 4th floor where the elevator stopped functioning after we reached our room. There was no night clerk available.

The staff were lovely and very helpful when mishaps happened, like forgetting your key in your room when you go to get laundry, or answering questions they didn’t have to but did to be nice. However, cops were constantly on the property, talking to guests and trying to ticket or arrest them.
