The advertisement was misleading: the room was not as described, the single bed slats/frame were broken, the mattress was thin and lumpy, the sheets were stained, and the towel was dirty. The bathroom window was broken, there was black mould in several places, a hole in the ceiling, and the bathroom flooring was amateurish. No housekeeping came to change linens. The radiators didn’t work, and we were given a broken but barely functional electric heater. I told management about this, but received no response. I booked for 11 days, slept in my car for 2 nights, and slept on a mattress on the floor for 3 nights.

The price was good, the spot was convenient, and the bathroom was private. I think the host should be stricter about who can post on their page because this place really hurts your reputation. During our stay I met at least three guests who were very upset, all of them booked through the portal and all of them said they would never use it again because it seems unreliable. There was no Wi‑Fi, no heating, the TV didn’t work, the carpet was terrible—stank of urine and was sticky, so I had to lay a towel on the floor to keep my bag from touching it. When I watched the cleaner tidy other rooms I could see they didn’t even vacuum the carpets. The mattresses were shocking, covered in red/orange stains, which was really disturbing. The worst part was that we couldn’t feel safe in the room; the lock was literally falling off the door and anyone could open it from the outside by just pushing a little. I asked the staff for a screwdriver to fix it, but nobody came for the four days we stayed. Compared to the price I would give it 2 stars, overall –5%. I could handle disgusting conditions and no heating (I had read the reviews so I was prepared, had our own blankets and a heater), the hallway always smelled of cigarettes, but the fact that we couldn’t properly lock our door and keep our belongings safe is over the top. The carpet is a health hazard in its current state and the customer service is really bad! I spoke to many other angry guests who were literally driving around Blackpool to find management— they went to two other hotels the owner runs and nobody was found. That place should be shut down in my opinion because nobody cares about the bare minimum you have to do to call yourself a hotel.

Nothing good. Drug den, not a hotel, the whole room was wet, strong smell of drugs and smoke, fecal matter splattered up the radiator, towels provided were wet, no staff in the building… this is a drug hostel, not a hotel!

The price is spot on. There was no heating in winter so was absolutely freezing and a daft green light illuminating the room up all nigh5
