The room was modern and just a 50‑meter walk from a Walmart.

The hotel offered a well‑thought‑out set of amenities that suited the typical traveler.

The location was good, but there was no microwave, the breakfast was poor, and the service was bad.

The hallways were extremely long and the elevator seemed far away; we had ice on our floor but no place to keep it. Overall I was disappointed—Ian was glad I had booked somewhere else for the next night; TRU isn’t my cup of tea. It was my first and last try at Tru. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels in my career and always found the good in them, but there’s no good to find here. Nothing else to add.
