Giovanni, the host, is extremely friendly and very helpful. He sends a message every day with events in Lecce, good restaurants, nearby supermarket, etc. There is a shared kitchen and laundry which is great. No complaints.

The spot is spot on, and Giovanni is a stellar host who sends daily updates with great tips that turned out to be super handy. Parking is a bonus, and the walk to the center takes barely a minute. The downside is that the rooms feel a bit exposed since they’re individual rooms in a shared apartment, so you’ll hear other guests moving around, but that shouldn’t stop you from booking. Still, it’s a solid place to stay with convenient parking and a short stroll into the center.

I was impressed by how everything worked out and the landlord went out of his way to help me.

The apartment sits in a quiet neighborhood, a short 10–15 min walk to the old town. Giovanni was very kind and communicative; we received detailed instructions on how to enter the apartment, the parking spot in the courtyard, and so on. We also got a daily itinerary of possible activities, from cultural events to coastal walks and places to eat and drink. We stayed in a clean room with a shared balcony (separated from the next room by a partition) that was very nice. We had our own separate bathroom, but it was in the hallway, which isn’t always convenient, especially at night. Although the apartment and building are very nice, they’re relatively old and could use a little freshening up to boost comfort, as does the bathroom. Overall, it was good value for money.

The host was very kind and showed me the best local spots; I’d definitely recommend staying here in Lecce.
