We adored the quiet, genuine feel of the house, the lovely gardens and the variety of animals kept in a fenced area. It was like stepping into a pastoral village surrounded by beautiful scenery. The locals were friendly and went out of their way to help us locate records of our Italian ancestors. A car would have been handy, but the walk to the small food markets, pharmacy and town hall was only about a mile. Just be careful walking along the rural road where sidewalks are scarce.

The property is in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery, and close to all the main services. I found the room clean and cozy, with everything I needed. Vincenzo, the house owner, was exceptional; more than an host, he’s a true friend, attentive and very kind, even giving useful advice for getting around. I highly recommend staying here.

The room is large and clean, surrounded by greenery, the owner is friendly, and the breakfast offered is excellent. The private bathroom is outside the room, and the extra paid climate control feels a bit over the top for one night.

A hillside house with a gorgeous garden. We had two rooms and a private bathroom. The kind host gave us tips for a trip around the Sila. No air conditioning, maybe it was paid for. Breakfast was very limited, but that’s common in most of Calabria.
