“Great place to explore the area”
The room was big enough for the four of us, plenty of space, clean, and comfortable. It was very hot and located in a corner of the park, surrounded by quite a bit of noise at night.
“Great place to stay maybe again when it is in season time.”
The heating was left on, making the caravan feel nice and cozy. The caravan was a great size. The owners sent me details that were very helpful and kind. My son found a hole in his sheet, dirt on it too; he used the opposite side and made the most of it.
“plenty to do, either walk / drive into Jaywick, plenty to eat, short drive into Clacton,”
Everything we needed was there, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the decking. I always take short breaks, so I’ll book again in 2026. Nothing to dislike, only the weather.
“Will definitely be back.”
Everything we needed was provided, and it was a great little family break away. The place was clean and spacious.
“Avoid at all cost!!!!”
We booked this caravan but never got to stay in it. When we arrived, we called the host to confirm our arrival, only to be told we would need a different caravan because of heating issues. The replacement caravan was terrible and nothing like the one we paid for. I have two autistic sons; the host claimed the caravan they tried to give us was unsafe for my youngest (non‑verbal) son because the gas fire in the lounge was the only heating source, which posed a danger. We had ordered a caravan with a veranda for safety reasons, yet we were handed one without it. We were only informed this morning that the caravan we paid for wasn’t available, so we had no chance to cancel the trip and avoid traveling three hours to a rundown, unsafe caravan for my youngest son. We were forced to pay for another safe caravan, and when we demanded a full refund, the host kept making excuses. They never called or messaged us until we had already traveled three hours and arrived on site. A holiday that should have cost me 141 ended up costing 500 because of this host, so I’m warning everyone not to get scammed by them. Save your money and sanity. The way a grown man spoke to my eldest autistic son and the fact they won’t return my money after scamming us is unacceptable.
