We were back at Hotel der Bäume for the second time and were again thrilled. The room was great, the hotel’s location very nice, and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was top‑class. Asbach is a hidden gem of peace—beautiful. Unfortunately, without a car you’re pretty stranded.

The breakfast staff were very nice and the older cleaning lady was sweet. The breakfast itself was tasty. The location is a bit remote; there are no restaurants within walking distance, which I found disappointing.

Breakfast offered a wide range, freshly cooked eggs in various styles. The indoor pool was pleasant in the heat, and the communal fridge for keeping drinks cold was great! The local bread selection was plenty and lovingly prepared. It could have been cleaner and the shower temperature more consistent.

A great spot, quiet and surrounded by nature, so relaxing. The house pool was excellent with outdoor loungers. The hosts were friendly and helpful, though I wish there were hammocks or hanging chairs in the woods.
