The staff were delightful and super helpful. The room came fully equipped and the bed was incredibly cozy. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the porridge which I’ve never tasted better. The only minor hiccup was that opening the bedroom door was a bit tricky, but we laughed it off and it didn’t bother us.

The owners were lovely and very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent.

The team offered great help with advice for the Great North Run the next day. Breakfast arrived early because many guests needed to leave, which was very convenient. Nothing else to note; for the price it delivered everything expected.

We were upgraded on arrival to a bungalow and it was amazing, so comfortable. We also didn’t expect breakfast as I was going the great north run but they made it available early for us. Nothing
