The owner’s understanding in letting us leave the hotel the next day. The state of the room we left the next day for another hotel was unacceptable.

I can’t explain in words how welcoming and warm it was with Cezar and Mehmet. The location was amazing! And the restaurant is lovely. Nothing else to add.

The location was great, and the young man who served breakfast was friendly. However, we discovered upon arrival that we wouldn’t receive the superior room with a view over the mosque as we had booked six months earlier; instead we were given a standard room with a limited view. If we’d known beforehand, we could have chosen to book elsewhere or accepted the standard room. After reading many Google reviews from home, I wonder if this is normal practice at the motel. When we tried to pay, the owner’s son told us to wait because he “wanted to put it through on a friend’s machine,” which sounded very dodgy.
