The family was incredibly kind and helpful, the place was simple but exceptionally clean, located in a very quiet spot, and it was still only a 25‑minute drive to El Nido’s city center.
“Beautiful cabin in front of the beach”
Rubelyn and Jaymar were incredibly kind and helped me out when I had an accident, for which I’m truly grateful. The place itself is calm and beautiful, and the Wi‑Fi works great. The roads to get there aren’t suitable for motorbikes unless you’re experienced, so it’s safer to take a tuktuk to protect your health.
“Simplicité et reposant”
We liked the quietness of this place and its surroundings; it’s a small paradise away from the crowds, perfect for recharging. The simplicity of the site appealed to us, and the hosts were very friendly.
“Toilet and shower borderline unusable.”
The beach right next to the property is nice, but the dirt road leading up to the camp is long and rough, and transfers to and from El Nido often refuse service because of it. The cabin’s door lock was broken, so I had to leave all my valuables in an unlocked hut while I was away. The worst part was the bathroom: the showerhead didn’t work, forcing me to do a “bucket shower” from a barrel that had maggots in it, and the toilet had no seat. I’m not overly picky, but I ended up going to another place just to use the facilities.
The cabins are very simple but fine, and the site is very peaceful right by the beach. The couple running it are charming, and breakfast is simple but adequate. The bathrooms are unfinished, with cement floors that collect shower water (which doesn’t work) and smell bad; the blue water tank had worms. If the bathrooms weren’t so bad, I would give it a 10.
