The hostel is well situated in central Sofia, within walking distance to the city center and well connected to the airport and bus/train stations. It’s large, so the common area can get busy in the evenings, which adds to the lively atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent—eggs, waffles, toast, fruit, sausages, tea, and coffee. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the price was great for a central stay. The dorms differ depending on the building or annex; I stayed twice, once in a spacious dorm with good-sized lockers and bathroom facilities, and once in a more compact dorm that made shower queues more likely. I booked the same size dorm both times, so it was just luck of the draw. In both cases, people were quiet in the evenings and respectful of each other’s space.
