It was close enough to Plitvice Lake. We rented two rooms. One had a lot of bugs and the mattress sagged. The other room was okay. Walking to Entrance 1 takes a longer walk.

The staff were attentive and kind. Breakfast was very good. The room was magnificent, and the electric towel warmer was very useful. Everything was impeccable. As a curiosity: we saw deer in the mornings when we woke up. We liked everything.

The apartment was brand new and spotless, with excellent facilities. The common room, verandah, and seating areas were lovely, and the rural setting was very quiet. Marija was welcoming and helpful, while Sasha happily offered to pick you up from the lakes for a small fee. The only downside was that the lake entrances were a bit far to walk with luggage, and there were no nearby eating facilities, so you had to bring your own food or dine at the lake’s restaurants.
