“Disgusting, unhygienic and nothing like the photos. AVOID”

I arrived at about 1 a.m., exhausted from travel, and had no choice but to stay for a few hours. The receptionist was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the moment we arrived. The property itself was disgusting and seriously unhygienic: dirty toilets, mould, leaking water, filthy bathrooms, worn‑out furniture, missing towels, and broken air conditioning. It looked nothing like the photos advertised. After complaining about the first apartment, we were moved to another one, which turned out to be even worse. I reported everything that night, sent photos as evidence, and left first thing the next morning. There wasn’t even a receptionist there when I left, so I handed the keys to the cleaner. This was not simply a “bad hotel”; the condition of the place was unacceptable and, in my opinion, should never have been offered to paying guests in that state. The photos on the listing gave a completely different impression from the reality. Had I seen the actual condition beforehand, I would never have booked it. Avoid this place.

The suite room is spacious—that’s all. Everything else is terrible, from the receptionist to the room facilities. The room cannot be locked from the outside, so if you leave, the door stays open and anyone can enter.

Very disappointing experience My stay at Palette Luxury Hotel in Riyadh was extremely disappointing. The service and condition of the hotel were far below what I expected. I had to wait for almost three hours to check in because there was no reception staff available. Room service was also unavailable during my stay. Unfortunately, the room was not clean at all. The sofa was extremely dirty, and the bathroom was in very poor condition. It looked old, poorly maintained, and honestly felt unsafe, as if it was about to collapse. Overall, the experience was very frustrating. The hotel needs significant improvement in customer service, cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hotel facilities.
