I booked this place for a single night, aware it was a residential apartment rather than a hotel, but the photos at least suggested it would be clean. When we got there we found other guests checking in and the owner’s personal stuff—clothes, slippers, random items—scattered everywhere, so the bedroom barely fit my suitcase and the bathroom was downright disgusting.

The host was friendly and the breakfast and the room were just fine for a one‑night stay. What really annoyed me was being told at the last minute that I needed to cough up an extra R$50 for a garage that had been advertised as included, even after I’d confirmed it beforehand. My car ended up on the street and nothing was done to secure it, which felt pretty unprofessional given the price.

My mother and her friend stayed here after I couldn’t make it, and they came away saying they liked nothing about the place. The sheets were stained, the towels smelled of mildew, there was only a single floor fan, and we never received the Wi‑Fi password. To top it off, a watch was hidden under the pillow when they left.

I can’t believe they list a room inside a lived‑in apartment where the residents keep all their belongings and leave no space for yours. The bathroom was filthy, with their dirty laundry in the trash and a grimy toilet, and the floor was littered with personal items. Honestly, I was shocked by the state of the place.
