The Sleep Inn & Suites hotel is situated off Interstate 74, one mile from the Indiana state line, near Harrison Park Golf Course, Bunker Hill Historic Area, Danville Community College, and the David S. Palmer Arena. The hotel is 35 miles from the University of Illinois Willard Airport and close to Village Mall and the VA Iliana Health Care System.

Check‑in was easy, although the staff were handling other guests at the same time. Our room was close to everything. The carpet in the room needed better cleaning or the vacuums didn’t work well; it really needed to be replaced and was kind of smelly. Breakfast was overall cold, the best thing was the yogurt, and even the coffee was lukewarm.

I didn’t like anything about the hotel except for the two employees I saw the whole stay; they were nice. The room we stayed in #216 was filthy, with dry bugs on the wall, dusty tables that looked like they hadn’t been wiped for weeks, a dirty bathroom, and a toilet paper holder hanging crookedly as if they didn’t care how it was hung up.

The room was large and the beds were comfortable, and the staff who checked us in were great. However, staff outside overnight and at check‑out were smoking what seemed to be pot, and a male staff member was asleep draped over the couch in the guest check‑in area. We have stayed at this location before with no issues, so we most likely will not return.

The bed was comfortable, but the carpets were very dirty and worn, and the room attire was worn.

The pool was great and the room was spacious, but the cleaning was poor—black hair everywhere, oil and goo on the handles, remote, phone, and the carpet wasn’t vacuumed.
