Qo'noq Railway Hotel

The room was in good condition and the staff were especially friendly, plus the location was perfect for traveling; if you only stay in Tashkent it might be different, but for a trip that includes other areas, this place is unmatched. Moving around in Tashkent is easy thanks to the subway and the Yandex Go service, and I definitely want to use it again.

The hotel sits right in the middle of the station, everything is clean and well maintained, and the dorms are quiet because few beds are occupied. The shower leaks at the lower door, but that isn’t a big deal; it still feels like you’re paying a lot for Uzbekistan, and the hotel is hard to find inside the station.

The hotel is right inside the train station, making catching a train super convenient. The “strong renovation smell” mentioned in older reviews is gone now, and the staff are very nice and helpful. When I lost a jacket at checkout, they kept it safe and I was able to retrieve it a few days later without trouble. I wish the breakfast offered some hot dishes and that the coffee machine actually worked.

The hotel is almost inside the station, the team is very friendly and helpful, but getting in is tough because you have to go through security.
