The manager gave good advice—turn on the AC to avoid the road noise—but the room price was high, the highway across the street was loud, the room was poorly insulated, and the AC noise didn’t mask the traffic at all.

The property was very nice and the room cozy, the hosts were excellent, I went to a car show, stayed an extra day to see the sights, must-see beaches and whale tours—things you don’t find up north in Michigan—close to Dad’s liquor store and within walking distance to beaches with amazing food, and I’ll be back in spring.

The place was super noisy; couldn't sleep all night. We booked three rooms and all had the same issue, right on the highway—avoid it.

Aside from the freeway, the location was nice. There was a roach on the bed and the power went out when I used the microwave. The lobby smelled of food.
