“Bom para descansar.”

We really enjoyed our weekend. The room was tidy, had a fan, and the hot water from the shower and gas toilet worked fine even when the lights went out. The breakfast was well‑served with plenty of variety. We didn’t like the lack of privacy: the wooden walls between rooms had gaps, so we could see the other couple in their tub and hear their conversation, which made us uncomfortable even when we were in our own tub, especially with normal bodily sounds like gas. The other side could hear and see everything.

“Pousada boa, porém muito distante de Friburgo, meio isolada”

After a hiccup with the location, a staff member upgraded us to a better room because of the trouble getting there. When we booked, we focused on the distance from the center of Freiburg, listed as 16 km, but when we arrived the GPS said 45 km; the inn told us it was a Booking error. That messed up our plans to leave Freiburg, and there’s nothing to eat nearby, especially at night. The minibar was empty, no water at all, so we had to stop by the market first.

I liked the view from the room and the comfortable bed. The breakfast started almost at 10 am, which was a bit late.
